If I get enough people saying they want a 30 DAYS OF HALLOWE'EN again this year, I'll do it. In the meantime tho, this is for boyfacedgirl, and austices and and Lil Zaira Z-Bomb from work, who will love what the dancers are doing down below as much as what the lip-syncher is up to.

Loved 30 Days of Halloween when you did it last year--I'd love for you to do it again.

When The Ropers was spun off from Three's Company, it simply echoed George and Mildred, the earlier spin-off from the original UK show, Man About the House. There was a second spin-off featuring the male lead, Robin's Nest; did Ritter get his own show as well?

More recently, of course, Homer shunted Bart out of the limelight in The Simpsons.

Ritter got a show called THREE'S A CROWD that didn't last very long...

Intriguing. The UK version featured Robin Tripp's post-threesome adventures as a would-be restauranteur whose girlfriend persuades her (rich) father to bankroll a tatty cafe. The only other character of note was a one-armed guy hired as a general dogsbody.

Did All in the Family (the US version of Till Death Us Do Part) also spawn spin-offs? There was at least one over here, with the racist Alf Garnett and his wife now without their daughter and her husband (played by Tony Booth, future father-in-law of a certain British PM).

There were five ALL IN THE FAMILY spin offs (in fact - the Norman Lear I mentioned was the producer of all of them), and then the spin-offs had spin offs.

- Maude (Edith's Cousin)

- The Jeffersons (the neighbours)

- Gloria (short-lived show with Archie's daughter as a single mom)

- Archie Bunker's Place (after Jean Stapleton left the show, Archie runs Kelsey's - his local pub)

and

- 707 Hauser Street ( a show that had the same set as ALL IN THE FAMILY) with an African-American family in the house that Archie and Edith used to own.

Also:

- Good Times was a spin-off of Maude(featuring her maid, Florida, and her family, living in the projects in Philadelphia).

I'm already listening to old time spooky radio shows and eating mallow pumpkins. Bring it on.

I remember that episode, yeah. Good one. Good digging on the rest too!

But it still doesn't beat Lurch in a wall-walk.

Lurch singing doesn't beat a wall-walk?

I have some other wall-walks coming up too...

AND "Hey, Uncle Vinnie - What's Cooking?" will be back for what is looking like the inevitable return of 30 Days of Hallowe'en...
