You'd think a pureblood would recognise just how real ghosts are, or that, oh, we only spent years living with them at school.

is he talking to you or just hovering around?
there must be some significant reason for him to return. is there some way you can ease his restless spirit so he can move on? or has he decided he can't bear to be parted from you? maybe he feels bad about the way things were when... well, at the end.

The thing is his not like a Hogwarts ghost that talks and all that we just see flashes of him.
The first time he was on the stairs when I was dancing, then the other night he was in the mirror when I was showering.
Not that I care about him seeing me naked!!!
Its a bit weird.

ok, so it certainly sounds like a restless spirit rather than an actual ghost. he hasn't made the decision not to move on into the unknown, rather there is something that is preventing him from leaving our plane of existence completely. and since he is appearing to you, it must have something to do with you. um, also possibly with you being naked, since you were nude both times he appeared.

now we just have to figure out what you can do to help his spirit, i suppose. i really have no idea.
