I've recently had this revelation about podcasting technology - even thought it's been around for a decade I tried it out for the first time yesterday.  NPR's website has free podcasts of pretty much every one of their shows, so I've spent the whole morning listening to Car Talk and Wait Wait, Don't tell Me.  It's amazing.  It's surprising how much ( Read more... )

So since I'm really bad at keeping in touch (spotty internet access and long distance telephone rates don't help), here's my life lately:  I've been teaching English, babysitting little brats, and helping out an American professor  with research and publishing a new boook...

i miss my boyfriend, a lot. it's a good thing i have an abnormally affectionate cat, although she doesn't bring me breakfast in bed, and our language barrier isn't as fun :/
