why the HELL do people wear toe rings?

i don't know about some people, but in the summer when all i wear are sandals... i'll wear a toe ring because i have hideous, long, warped toes; somehow i think a toe ring will divert attention from them

it's not bad thinking, diverting attention and all...only, toes rings never seem to fit my chubster toes. i guess i'll have to think of something else.
