Last night something strange happened to me. It didn't creep me out, but it was 'creepy' nonetheless. I was at work and I got this series of texts via my phone. Apart from being very curious as to why he was texting me, and of course being very nice to someone who works in the same building with my scheduler, I was just a little annoyed. Well he shouldn't have used your number that way, but maybe he was just trying to be nice and had some free time to spare?

Yes, and he is a nice guy, but I don't see totally disregarding my boundaries/privacy as a very nice thing to do. This, of course, is assuming he thought about it, which I doubt he did. Kinda my point, is that it wasn't even considered that the information I give to my work is not for his personal use. I think I have more of a problem with the 'societal norms' now that made what he did seem ok, than I actually do with what he did.

I get your point. And I doubt he thought about it. For him it was probably something as innocent at looking you up on the yellow pages...

Do you think he likes you? Maybe he's trying to get on a date with you?
Nowadays, we have access to some much info so easily that it's hard to see the limits. I only really got the hang of 'personal data' after working in rights and having to handle contracts. I wouldn't have done anything wrong on purpose, but I might have done some unknowingly.
Don't worry, I know better than that now!

LOL! I doubt it, I can't remember exactly, but i think he told me he's 24 in one of our chats at bravo 90. He's also a pretty good looking kid too (works out a lot). That being said, I was out with my friend (OMG totally forgot I have to update on that!)Lisa at rockies and got solicited by 19 year old drunk boy with "I'll do ya for a plate of nachos". Actually, he's a regular...kinda awkward. Well, not really because you just know that boy's gonna end up hustling ;)

"unknowingly"
I think that's part of it. The deluge of personal data we're all exposed to everyday and products like facebook, etc. that perpetuate the myth that 'none of it really matters anyhow'.
