Love the scarf and happy to hear that the friend who made it is doing well - that was a previous post.
I'm glad that you explain the sneaky TOS. I keep thinking I'll shut my FB down but too many of my relatives/friends use it. When I have the time, I'll pull out all the pics of G and put them on a more decent sharing site. Some of my relatives only ever get to see G on FB...
Tee hee, yup. As far as I know we're waiting for her to remember her password. I deal with family members who I meet in real life, who are offended that I didn't show up to or rsvp to their party, etc. and all they have to say is "well, I told you on facebook!" like I was trying to dodge them or something. I had to make a user icon that says "I'm not here and I won't get your messages" because even if you quit, your (in my case fake, thank gawd) profile is still connected somehow. Seriously, that's the only attempt people make now. Another time, my brother and his wife said it was really important that I come over. I thought they needed babysitting in a pinch or something. I had a surprise birthday dinner. Yaaay!...in March :( My birthday is in April. I listed my birthday as March 3 1933 on my facebook profile. True story, I couldn't make this shit up. So yeah, you do miss out on a whole lot, but that 'whole lot' is pretty superficial. Of course, that may just be me and my messed up family. My friends know me well enough to know I'm
( ... )
actually, don't hold your breath. I'm great at making plans but only following through on one...the one where I don't do anything at all :( I'll let you know by the end of this month if it looks like I can get it to do what I want and I can get it set up :)
