It's not so much they want to break you down, its that women want attention. They want to know that someone is there to wait on them hand and foot, and by molding them into the person they want you to be, somehow you'll be motivated to pay MORE attention to them. However, this can be a valuable card in the male category, for if you play your cards right, you can have the woman playing the beta role in the relationship, while you maintain status as the alpha. (Basically she'll be the one begging for your attention)

Though I dunno....you LIVE with your girl...so really that puts her at the advantage, I think you just have to basically prove that your quite the catch, and that your a better option than any other schmuck of the street, so you dont end up being taken for granted. Thats my 2 cents anyway
