Congratulations to both of you on becoming pets!

I don't know that cats need names, or rather, names that you give them. There were cat-name wars in our house; our cat's name is a point of major contention. Ironically, it is officially my cat, but I don't really get a say. Not that I care. I call him 'the cat' and therefore avoid the politics of what his name actually is. He doesn't seem to care as long as he gets fed, and gets worshipped when he is in the mood for it.

Kitteh!

I read that humans with allergies can grow tolerant of animals they live with. So if they aren't bad now, hopefully they'll stay that way/improve!

Cathy and Steve have a kitty here. Her name is Tuna. She just kinda wandered up to Steve one day, no collar, nothing. Steve gave her a can of Tuna and then she wouldn't go away, so she lives here now. She's tortoise colored too ^^

And she loves walking on keyboards when you're trying to accomplish things.

I'd definately give her a name. Baby works, I had a friend whose cat was named Baby. Maybe because she toroise colored, she could be named after a ninja turtle!

Or you could ignore that, as they're all male names anyways >.>

I think you should call her Turtle! Lol...

She's cute. :) All I got's is a stupid oscar fish that splashes and bangs his head against the glass if you don't feed him just right, and a big, lazy, long sucker fish that cleans the oscar and the tank. Ha!
