I'm not sure if I'm joking when I say that there's a fifty-fifty chance of one of my coworkers going postal when she learns just why she was training one of the girls from the branch offices in the computer system. Luckily most of the incoming drama won't affect me and my department.

Though one of the staffers put a complaint about my coordinator's attire in the suggestion box ofter she was brushed off by HR. But that's not really my problem.

Not quite. She is training the woman who will then get to go down to Florida for a week (at least) to train the offices down there. And the trainer is someone prone to breakdowns and is already resentful because she feels like she has been passed over again and again for various other positions. Not to mention rumors that will fly about why said trainee gets to go to Florida once the news all comes out. So once word gets around, she won't be the only person feeling bitter and/or annoyed.

Let's give a cheer for being plugged into the rumor mill.
