[privately, he thinks his might be worse--confronted with his wayward fiancee and the castle's idea of what their child together might look like--but he's biased, and he doesn't mention it. Besides, he and Amy got their happy ending, finally. Sort of. He huffs a chuckle]
You and me both, honestly.
So ... [awkward conversation shift get] You're the hero type, right? You fought crime and stuff back home?
Just curious ... some of the other ones here, they sort of, I think, see people in black and whites. Either you're good, or you're bad, and there isn't any in-between. Does that make sense?
So you think people can be forgiven? Because it feels like some people here ... once you do something wrong, you can't go back. You're a bad person forever.
[there's also the sound of rustling pages]
It probably shouldn't matter, since you can't remember your last time here ...
There is a certain mindset people have. You do something wrong, they don't want to forgive. But it really all depends. If you rob a bank... it's wrong but it isn't impossible to redeem yourself.

What's going on, Rory?

I ... I made a mistake, once. A--really bad one.

How bad?

It probably doesn't explain a lot.

Did you kill someone?

No. Yes. I--I don't know. ... I might as well have.
