I make or alter most of my shit myself, but it's really cool to meet someone else who sews here. What kind of clothes are you best at?

Well, all kinds of clothes! I really like sewing basic dresses, because they're really simple to make - just a few seams, and they cover your whole body! - but I also like shirts because they're so much fun, and jackets, because they make you look really cool, you know?

You can't go wrong with a cool jacket, no way in hell. Hahaha, so you make everything, huh? Do you embroider and shit too, or just seams? Appliques or silk-screening? What's your favorite fastenings to use?

[He sounds really excited to meet someone else who makes clothes, oh yes.]

[Now that he's getting into it, Shiki is getting really excited as well. She's found other people here who truly appreciate good clothing, but nothing like this!]

Oh, I can do everything! I mean, I'm aiming to be a designer when I get older, after all! Well, assuming I ever leave this castle... but I'm still trained in pretty much everything! My favorite fastening is totally zippers, though. They're so easy to sew on, and don't involve buttonholes, or close stitches around buttons or clasps or anything... you just sew them on and then you're done!

They make a real nice sound too! Zzzzzip! There are some things zippers aren't really the greatest for, but I gotta say, they're one of the most fun fasteners.

We should get together sometime and talk clothes and shit! I'm gonna be takin' over a textiles shop someday so we're kinda aiming to be in similar work, you know?

Oh wow, really? That's so awesome! We should totally hang out and talk... I do a fair amount of designing around here, so we can maybe work together on this kind of thing at some point too!

That would be so awesome. I've never worked with someone else before. It'll be fun. Haha, I can't wait.

Awesome! Oh man, if I weren't working at the WildKat, I could totally think about setting up a whole design thing, and then talk to you about the textiles... but it'll still be super cool, anyway!

And too bad, it'd be fun to do it more often. I make a lot of dolls, but most of the clothes I work on are just mine so I could use some more practice. I just finished a new pair of jeans this morning, actually. They look real nice.

The WildKat is a coffee place in town! It's based off of one from my home world, too. And I work there! You should totally stop by sometime!

Ooh, really? ...You know what? Where are you? We should totally just meet up to talk about all of this, so we can see the kinds of things we're making and everything!

Cool. Maybe I'll check it out sometime. Coffee isn't my favorite thing, but it's pretty good.

Right now? I'm up in my room. Terrere Tower, room, uh... 2012. I ain't doin' much so if you wanna come on up that's fine!

Oh, we have all kinds of things aside from just coffee, too! Pastries and things every day, and other kinds of drinks... all sorts of stuff!

[He happens to be working on a purple and yellow cuttlefish doll, sewing in tiny intricate details with careful, exacting stitches.]
