Who: Fred and any member of Team Angel that wants to visit. What: Settling down for the night. When: First night of the lock down. Where: Her new bedroom. Rating: PG?
Cordelia was rooming with Harmony. It seemed like the easiest thing to do, and she knew that Fred was still settling in, so she didn't want to invade too much of her space. But that didn't mean she wasn't allowed to pop in before bed to have a look at the room.
"Wow," she said as she stuck her head in. "This is really nice. I like what you've done with the place."
"Well, he is Wes," she said shifting so that she was sitting cross-legged on the end of the bed. "You guys have been through a lot -- both here and home. I wouldn't blame you for trying to keep your distance."
Cordelia approves of this plan. So much. But she's trying to contain her glee to a moderate level. If anyone deserved to be happy in this scenario, it's Wes and Fred.
She shrugs, glancing down at bit. "I figured with our world being the way it was, we needed every bit of happiness we could get. I thought you two might make each other really happy."
Fred's quiet for a moment, taking that in. She can't help but wonder about Angel and Cordy and how they're doing, or if this is even the place to bring all that up again.
"Right now, I'd say it's a safe bet to lean pretty heavily on the 'might'."

"That's the point, though. I don't want to keep my distance. Not anymore."

"Good. I'm glad."

"You always were sort of our cheerleader, weren't you?"
Had she really just done that? Landed on the word 'our'?

Recent scenes in her bedroom aside.

Her and Angel? Maybe not so much. But that's still an issue for another day.
