Amends and changes! :) After working with the comments we received last post as well as chat in the following days there was a lot of helpful brainstorming! So taking everything mentioned into account I've tried to change and fix things to address all the concerns that came up and make a compromise that works for everyone--which is what

Please make the subject of your change concern/idea apparent in the subject line of your comment :) ie. not sure how to get a character involved would be "Character Involvement", hero actions would be "Hero participationg", "Hero reactions", "Hero Initiative" etc. Whatever you think best describes your main concern or idea!

First I will say that if anyone missed that Allen post linked above, you can still comment to it and I will do my best to backtag. If that's not your cup of tea, I think...Alleyne is gonna do a post regarding Riful as well since she was like I AM ALLEYNE, HEAR ME ROAR. She is much better at delegating tasks ICly than Allen, so that's probably the place to go if you just want to get involved and don't care how. (atma if I am horribly wrong about this, please let me know)

That being said, there are lot of ways to get involved on the heroes front in regards to preparation. We still need volunteers for the following stuff:

1. INFO GATHERING: Talking about taking out a big bad is all well and good until you realize you have no idea how. Not to mention they still need to figure out that Riful has more allies than just Arthas and Legato. Maybe either your character can be actively seeking out info/spying or they could stumble across something by accident (like Riful's tentacle in the woods from her battle with Pharos this spring). This

Kitty can merge pp recruitment with training recruitmennt and get the trainees to join. And talk to Logan about it. He probably won't want to ( most pp stuff) but he'd be so much use/help

Even if Wolvie doesn't want to join the Patrol, we can have plot-specific recruitment for people who can be persuaded to take down Riful without actually joining the team. After all, the plot is Riful vs. the castle residents, not Riful vs. the Peace Patrol, so I'm basically figuring on the Patrol doing a lot of organizing and leadership purely because they actually have a structure of some kind, while the non-Patrol residents help out where they're needed, with the Patrol's guidance to figure out who would be most useful where. If that makes sense?

Yeah Jr. talked to Allen about organizing a separate meeting just for those who want to help with Riful and such, and I think Alleyne will be handling that? There'll probably be a lot of back-and-forth.

Sounds good to me! I figure there'll be plenty of interconnection with all this stuff, just as long as everyone's talking, it should work out fine.

Zelman might actually be able to help with recruiting some of those bad guys/neutral characters, being on that side of the spectrum himself. As soon as he figures out Pharos is missing? He'll start gathering up his resources and branching out for more ways to help make sure that Riful is taken care of.

The only problem is that he himself is probably only going to communicate with a few people, because he hates most good guys. 8( ALLEN YOU MIGHT BE STUCK PLAYING MIDDLEMAN. But hopefully he can at least contribute to the party!

This guy's an anti-social powerhouse, too. Maybe they could handle business, on the Riful end of things.

I know at the very least, Zelman can suggest that going out and beating the shit out of a power-hungry monster would be a great way to cure boredom. And garner a reputation, if he's into that sort of thing. He's not planning on going out there himself, but he's certainly sending a lot of people on his behalf.

SO I CAN DEFINITELY TRY TO GET ALEX INVOLVED THROUGH ZELMAN, one way or another. Who knows, maybe he'll change his mind and they can buddy-up for a throw-down or something. :>

Alex wants his time here to be peaceful, so he believes in nipping problems in the bud. He's currently meeting Legato and questioning him, after hearing Allen's information.

THAT'S OKAY ZELMAN, ALLEN WILL ACCEPT HIS ROLE AS MIDDLEMAN. While he's totally happy to take Zelman's help...he wouldn't trust the dude in places like his home or PPHQ anyway.

Besides then we get the fun reactions of heroes finding out..who Allen went to for help B)

So, I'm pretty interested in getting the Midnighter involved in this, and he sort of is. Buuuuut right now he'll still sort of fall under 3 (recruitment). He pays attention to what posts he can see, and he's currently keeping and eye out and whatnot, but he's still pretty much (and probably forever gonna be like) 'wow these guys are lame I'll just ignore them and do my own thing'. I'm looking to get him a little more actively involved (but not TOO much, he and I both just returned here. Also, his ability makes things tricky because of the. seeing every way the fight could possibly go thing so there's another reason why he can't be in the THICK of things), and I'll probably poke him into places where I think I can? But if anyone has any ideas that they wanna throw at me re: this, please do?
