Epic sci-fi/fantasy is harde #808098
I'm starting to accept that it is impossible to write a complex, multi-volume story with epic-scope starting from the beginning. I have a basic idea of how the story goes, but I was afraid of the double work writing out of order might create. Oh well, better that than a forced flow of things. -
novel writing question
If you're writing a novel in a modern setting, and you are talking about someone's exact height (someone ran across a bunch of random information about someone else) can you write it with numbers like 5' 8" or do you have to write out in words? I'm seeing more and more numbers in books lately.
Anyone know? -
Was it just me? (Dexter and the Tudors)
or did season 4 of Dexter suck? I want a dark comedy about a serial killer, not one poorly-written cliche after another. Why is Dexter so sappy all of a sudden? Why is everyone so sappy and ick. Because apparently I don't have enough creative projects going.
I would like to learn that arcane skill known as vidding. I've only got iMovie, so I'm not sure what sorts of things one can do with that. I understand I need a ripping program and some other type thing I'm guessing to turn it into AVI. I understand I should make a test project first. Hmm.
