First of all, there is a turkey in my backyard. Yes, I live in the ghetto of Los Angeles, and a turkey somehow found its way to live in our backyard. you can come to my house for thanksgiving.
actually, thanksgiving is depressing at my house.\
well, it's really non-existent at my house.
i don't think we've sat around the table with a traditional meal since i was 7.
we usually get a turkey dinner from marie callendar's and take it to my grandmother at the nursing home where she stays.
then we sit and eat around her tiny room and my mom cries behind her sunglasses while she cuts my grandmothers turkey into teeny tiny pieces and mixes it with the mashed potatoes.
i think the pilgrims and native americans had a better time.
you are still welcome to join, it's just not like the movies.
sorry, i'm in a bad/sad mood.

Thanks for the call yesterday, it made me happy! I am super sad about thanksgiving, but, as always, I understand. I guess.
