Well....I don't know how far you want to travel.. but over here in Utah I know for sure that the University of Utah and Utah State University have family housing. We just transfered to Utah State and aren't living in the on-campus housing cause it looks crappy but it's pretty cheap but at the U of U we lived in the on-campus family housing and LOVED it. The community was awesome and they had shuttles for campus as well as regular bus stops to get around town and trax is nearby. It would be quite the move for you, though according to what your profile says :o)

From my experience (3 different 4 year colleges since hurricane Katrina!), family housing on campus are sub-sub-par. Water heater in middle of living room, cinderblock everything, and minimal maintanence. It was the same at all three colleges. Plus, the price for the housing is the same or more than a single bedroom apartment near campus. Most college campuses have a ton of apartment complexes around them, so it might be worth a look just for an upgrade in living conditions with not much, if any price increase. Of course, this probably varies from college to college, but I am just speaking from my limited experience :) Hope this helps,
