Hi sweetie! Nice to read something of and about you again! Love your design! Hopefully it will look the same in reality cause you did a very beautiful job here!!!!
A reading club ey!!! Sound so Oprah =D! Glad to read that yoy have fun with it! That is the most important thing of all: to have fun!
I will think about you, sweetie and take good care of yourself!!!
First of all, I'm glad you posted the site plan, the orientation of the two wings makes a lot more sense, and does really respond to the site nicely.
I love how the front of that one wing with the company name on it forms this solid block that faces the street. It speaks of fortitude and strength, which is exactly what you want in both a company you're doing business with and a crane. But then, just above it, a totally open glass wall, too high to reach = you have to come around and go inside, but friendly and inviting nonetheless. It forms a great contrast with the solid wall. Simple and elegant.
There's a lot of great moments, but one is in the corner in this view. I love all the stuff going on in that corner. Is it true that corner is the main entrance to the building? The way the conference room window punches through the outside wall, but is pulled back from the corner just a bit. It's not too busy, but still it looks dynamic in contrast to the broad, minimal stretches of wall and glass on either side of it
