Yesss, back, I'm back.

5am.. just got back from California yesterday.. feeling completely jetlagged.. loving it. Well.. lots of things in my mind a few minutes ago, where to start.. where to start from my last post.. well..

Does every mairie in France have a fancy room like that for doing les mariages? The one in Caen is beautiful but their hotel de ville is an eighteenth-century abbey.

I believe every city hall is required to have a place designated for weddings, may it be for that purpose only or shared among various public functions such as being the one room in town used for public speeches or being the occasionnally un-furnished but decorated mayer's office or being the sole agora for religious celebrations, public trials, decapitation, hospitalization, children'seclusion when fleeing from family's nest, lovers'hiding...etc
Unfortunately, imagination gets too much fun with itself and wonders far, my old and wise memory gest us closer to reality, it whispers that even in my very petite parents's town, the city hall is big and thus probably contains a room dedicated for weddings only. Hence must it be that way often..
