This has been quite an interesting/wonderful/stressful/snowcovered/magical holiday season that isn't quite over. Yesterday was one for the ages.
The last day before break at my school is BLAST day, which stands for Be Loving and Sharing Together day. Went and worked in some first grade classrooms, got entirely dusted in glitter from their holiday cards, than went and sang.

Today has been a strange day. I can't quite put my finger on why, though.

Floating Astray.

The Stars Gleam.
Well, I have had a very productive evening. I finished my paper, I think I wrote part of my song. Today E, S, and I ran around interviewing people for our project, asking insightful questions like, "do you ever feel alone?" and "what connects you to your childhood?" It was so interesting. I wish it was the beginning.
Snowing again today. It's been snowing continually for a couple days now. I love it, it gives the whole world this blanketed, protected feeling. December has a lot of promise, I think. Maybe not just for me, necessarily, but for the world and others too. Of course, the holiday season and all those things, but for other reasons too.

Relationships are so hard. I'm always asking myself, is it worth it? Is he worth it? The thing is, I rarely know the answer. Then again, I rarely know the answer to anything, so nothing new there.

Winter Passing.
Winter Passing... wow. One of the most amazing songs The Academy Is... has ever, done which is really really saying something. The writer of the lyrics Mr. William Eugene Beckett Jr. mentioned that the song was about falling in and out of love during winter in the midwest. It's absolutely true.
