Any other year I'd be spending today by going to an evening showing of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and then staying up all night to read the new Harry Potter.

Oh, 'tis a curse to be a grown-up sometimes. But they can both wait until next week, right?

Christine went to C&tCF tonight with friends (the Weestaks are in the Great Lake State with their g-parents) and adored it, but there's NO way I'ma face the wizardry tonight at midnight to get the new HP.

If you haven't listened to my phone post tonight, it pretty much explains why the great moments of parenthood makes the pop-culture inconveniences easier to tolerate.

If it makes you feel any better, my eyes are bothering me so I am not reading and nobody will see Charlie with me. You are not alone!

When we do get around to reading it, we can discuss it like we did eons ago with OotP:)

I'm adding you at the suggestion of pastahero, whose irresistible charms require me to do his bidding.

I keep reading your name in my friend's LJs - mind if I add you?
