A part of my recent retail therapy was the purchase of a new mp3 player.  Yes, you read that correctly, MP3 Player, not iPod.

I operate oddly.  I spent the last 6 months neglecting my physical being (not to mention most of my emotional and intellectual being).  The last two months I've been dragging my feet and ass around knowing I need to do something, anything, to get back in shape.  The badly sprained ankle (still swollen and sore) in October served as a good reason/ ( Read more... )

Well - the big news is that I went snowboarding for the first time of the season yesterday!  It turned out to be quite glorious, despite spending 1/2-2/3 the day giving tips to the couple (work) I went up with and being at the unchallengingly terrained Snoqualmie.  I find that just being in that environment gives me great pleasure.  It was snowing ( Read more... )

I went home early from work yesterday.  Ill.  I went in at 8 today, but came home again by 10.  My head.. I've had a rather hectic couple weeks.  I got all strung out again.

Went to Portland for the Davis cup two days after my week in Nebraska.  It was a good time.  We drove out of town in a horrendous but warm snowstorm and got soaked in Portland rain all weekend.
