As I've mentioned, Gillian is working on several badges for Girl Scouts on her own this summer. One of the badges she chose was "Science Discovery," and one of the requirements that she chose involves interviewing a woman who is a scientist ( Read more... )

My lj friend tntoxfox is a toxicologist at Penn, and she's really nice! She also has cats and ice skates!

I have a friend who works for Mission Control at NASA and another who trains astronauts. Let me know, I'm sure they would both be happy to help.

Do grad students count? I think Angela might know some women that are still in the astronomy program at GSU, though most I can think of have graduated and moved on to other cities.
Also, Amy Feingold works for the EPA, but not sure exactly what she does for 'em.
