By the way, can i ask what you want to do with your MDiv? Are you still wanting to go into non-pulpit ministry, or is it just handy to be able to marry people? (;
Yeah, no offense or anything along that lines. I've basically decided that ordained ministry isn't for me. I want to have my own life, go home after work and be HOME, without worrying about people calling at all hours of the night with stuff. I haven't found any ministry job that jives with what I feel like I should be doing, so I think I'm going to stick with lay ministry for now. That being said, I'm continuing school for the pure pleasure of education. It's like being a HoScho - there's no real concrete reward, just cool classes with cool profs (minus the killer thesis).
That's the long and short of it - we can talk about it more in person if you're really interested.

(Serious question, though - no offense meant.)
