2014 was busy, fulfilling, and I accomplished a lot (but not all) of my goals.

5 years ago I weighed 220 pounds, wore braces on both knees and was getting my butt kicked by Curves workouts.

Today I finished my first Sprint Triathlon, meeting both of my goals for they day of finishing and not vomiting.

So, my brother shot a deer. Those of you who know my brother will know how absurd that is. Since going to IU, my brother has fully embraced various hippy trends. Had a little get-together today to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary, and it was a ton of fun. Close friends and neighbors from back home, family, friends from college and elsewhere, all gathered into our backyard for some delicious food, good weather, and fun games. Ever notice how life moves along at a pleasantly plodding pace for a long bit - nothing much changing, moving through the daily grind sort of days - and then STUFF happens all at once?
