I won first place at my debate meet today! It was my first debate meet ever. I attribute a lot of the win to my partner, but it still feels REALLY good. We even both got first place bowling pins! *pumps fist*

And now, fic!

Brilliant! I love the third person narrative...is that the correct term? I should know this! But English is my second language, so I have an excuse. Anyway, I freaking love this!

It's actually second person. Third person: he, she, it. Second person: you, your (and then first person: I, me, my). I'm very happy you liked the second person narration, it was good fun to write!
Thank you so much!! :D

This is such a Sherlock/John row!

The unconscious Moriarty quote in the same tone and context as the man himself would have broken John's heart and yes he would have had to get some space to decide of it's all worth it if he's even making a dent in his flatmate or if his flatmate is damaging him.

And yes he would have gone after Sherlock for his own good...he would have found the man like a bloodhound and in the condition Sherlock was in I doubt he would have been capable of coherent speech...so him saying John was realistic.

That's what true friendship is about...you wound each other but the again your are each other's band-aid...true friendship is not neat and clean...its glorious and ugly and equal parts joined together by passion and a connection that neither can define.

in short...
Good job!

Yes, to everything you've said! I think John and Sherlock's friendship would be able to survive anything, even a row like this. Like you said, it's not clean and it's not always pretty, but it's a love and it keeps them together. You're so awesome for getting that.
Thank you for this lovely comment! :D

Getting it is easy when you are living it.
Thanks for the story!

This is really good! I like the weaving together of the earlier fight and the present. All of the sensory descriptions were wonderfully vivid.

I'm really glad you liked the senses stuff. When I started this that was my main goal in writing it (little did I know how long and angsty it would end up being xD). Thank you! :D
