All pets achieve a sort of immortality with their families, who have their memories of them....Opie has a whole raft of virtual strangers (or 'virtual' friends) who will remember him through you. :)

Hi! You don't know me, I'm a friend of "spookygirl" Jenne. I was very sorry to hear about your Opie. I lost my cat in October to complications, and I know how it is to lose a pet you are very close to. It warms my heart to know that, wherever they are, they are probably playing with mice together!
