Well, today was day 10 on the Sonoma diet for me. I'm doing good so far. Weight is starting to slow down, but that is becuase it was water weight at first. I know I have a long ways to go, but it's ok. I am actually enjoying this way of eating. It is all of the foods I like, and it's actually kind of easy. I am SOOOO very happy that I adopted Smokey, he is my new kitten. I adopted him a little over a month ago, and he is just so incredibly adorable. He follows me wherever I walk in the house, and he lays down on my lap a lot. I can be working on something on the computer, and he will jump up and just plop down in my lap. He purrs a lot, also. Well, for xmas my parents told me I can get a new little kitty. It's been about 2 months since my Toby died, and I have been wanting to get another kitty for a while. It's been almost 3 weeks since Toby died, and it still feels like just yesterday. I still wish so bad that I will come home from work one day and he will greet me at the door. I don't really keep in contact with some of the people I had grown close to. That is my own stupidity. I regret it, but the only thing I can do now is try. I took this thing at work today called Flumist. It's like the flu shot, only they use the live disease and it involves no needles. It was kind of cool.
