A tree by the road.
She breathes, she shivers. 
Her coat has come off and the cold has come in.
All of her offspring scattered on the ground.
Alone and empty.
Frozen.
Snow finds a home on the limbs of her body.
She is silent in the wind.
No one stops to talk to her.
She is hallow and cold.
