It's over, the whole thing. I wouldn't call it a "work of art" but the majority of it is, I think, pretty nice. I learned here that you should always learn how to get rid of your sketch lines in Photoshop itself instead of erasing them. You learn something new everyday, I guess ( Read more... )

Okay. I'm five pages into it, just enough for me to finish up my Bristol pad. I scanned the first page as an expiriment, and was surprised to see it come out beautifully. I actually was thinking of an idea for a little book. The cool part is, it doesn't just single as my little personal whatnot, it also serves as a science project. I've gotten nly one page done, the comic being due on Monday. I've written it already, and it's fifteen or sixteen pages. Oddly enough, I found Flight in a book section at a mall. It was all I could think about all day, and I pretty much lost hope in finding it here, since the other comic stop didn't have it either. There won't be a comic up today because Photoshop decided to be an asshole. So, unless you want to see some uncolored inks and some loose penciled guidelines, I'll have the strip up tomorrow. It seems like every time I want to do something on my machine, something goes wrong.

A new comic will be up either tomorrow or Sunday, so if you care at all, take a glance on my site on those days.

I looked at my nearest comic stop, and they were apparently 'out' of copies of Flight. So, I'm gonna check the other comic stop which happens to be in my town, too. If I find it, I will be so happy, this book seems so great.

Well, I've been looking around www.boltcity.com at this Kazu Kibishi guy's comic, "Copper" and it's really just amazing. The artwork and writing both together forms a delicious one-pager. A new one comes out every once a month ( Read more... )
