I've met this incredible person recently... Before anyone gets the wrong idea we're not in a "relationship..." She's just an internet friend that I've only known for a few days, but it's like I've known her for so long. I met her at KAF under the user "Subaru." We talked to each other by posting, then Private Messaging, and then she got me on ICQ.

Seriously, though, what do you mean that you two can only have an Internet relationship? Ever heard of a thing called AIRPLANES? If you keep talking to her, and if you think it's worth attempting to make the relationship more than just an Internet relationship, you should consider trying to meet in person. So what if she lives in another hemisphere? Don't let mileage of all things stop you from considering the possibility of being more than Internet friends.

Aww...Paul. I'm glad to hear you're meeting girls.

But while I hate to rain on your parade...(although you did a great job of that) relationships over the Internet aren't very...feasible, I guess. Look, Robby can talk about airplanes all he wants, but can you afford a $200 plane ticket every time you want to see her? But moving is always an option...

Well, I was trying to encourage him more than I was trying to be feasible. XD I just don't like hearing people rule out the possibility of having a relationship with someone merely because of distance. I mean, if a person is so great, what's a few miles? Hell, what's a few hundred, or even a few thousand miles? And like you said, multiple visits would be rather expensive, but then, there is always the choice of relocation. :)

But Paul's only been talking to this girl for a few days, so I think we're getting a little ahead of him. XD

Actually, I told her that I "like" her and she told me that she "liked" me... I've never met a girl like her before... Distance also isn't the only problem. She's Muslim and I'm from a family strictly against relationships with non-christians... *sigh* a forbidden love...
