Okay, I'm now active on Google Plus: https://plus.google.com/u/0/100516437261483696990/posts. I've found that WordPress is good for writing content and bad for social connection, while G+ is good socially but bad for significant content. It's closer to Twitter than to LJ. So neither of these venues is able to replace the other. So I'm following ( Read more... )

I'm also, finally, on facebook. Because everyone else is, so that's where actual communication ends up hsppening. I will now shut off further comments here, as it only gets spam.

[later] Okay, comments aren't shut off entirely, because that causes all old comments to be hidden. Instead I've just maximally restricted the right to comment.
