Yes, yes, it really sucks to be a fanvidder. I think this might be interesting to other vidders on my f-list.

I just told periwinkle27 it yet (though in an open post) but I don't think I will keep uploading new videos on YouTube. Although, trying to find another streaming site is even harder but more to this further down my post

Hi :-) Sorry to hear about all the argghness. You might already know about it but theres a vidding forum called ' Foolish Passion Fan Vidding' (Bluemeany handy link: http://fpvideos.proboards60.com/index.cgi? ).
In their General section, they have several threads that might be helpful. There's one about alternative uploading sites, one thread is a list of songs that are automatically blocked from Youtube so you know not to try them to begin with and another thread has some suggestions that occasionally work to circumnavigate the Youtube songprint screening thingy, like slightly speeding or slowing down the music.
