I have eight tattoos. Unless I'm going out of my way to show them to you, you'd never know I had any at all (I'm two holes shy of a golf course in piercings, and while you can see most of them, you'd never guess at the ones you can't see). Several of my tattoos have begun to tie into each other so that from bicep to back to bicep, it's all one fun ( Read more... )

my tattoos are the same as yours in that they are all hideable or showable in my terms. i love my tattoos and are very personal to me as well. i love showing them off now and then, but i am able to go to work easily without anybody knowing i had them :)

it has been over a year since my last one...i am really jonesing for another one hehe

I just got another one a few nights ago and it's in the fun itchy stage. I keep reaching up absent-mindedly to scratch at it and then I remember and stop. :)

Yeah, I read this and...well, I feel bad because the girl has stars tattooed on her face. But seriously? She fell asleep? While someone was tattooing her FACE? Seriously? I am skeptical. And she wanted her face tattooed. Who wants their face tattooed? She just got more than she wanted. It's like--"O no, I only wanted to be slightly unemployable. No, I only wanted to hate myself a little bit in ten years. Just a moderate laughingstock."

On that note, I am off to get my arm colored in! Holla!

I don't feel bad -- at least not for the girl. If the inker was legit and not as shady as he sounds like he has the potential to be, I feel bad for him.

And yeah, seriously. If you're getting a face tat, you might as well go all-out like the kid who got the Misfits tribute piece. I'm still torn on neck pieces -- somehow bits on the side/throat are questionable, but back-of-the-neck is okay if it's low enough.

amanda's going to kick me on this one, but i wish i got my claddagh somewhere other than my chest. it shows too much under my work clothes. and i've been asked if i have an "easter basket" tattooed on me. i do wish my tattoos were more visable for the most part. mainly on my upper shoulders to be shown off in a tank top. i hate that noone ever gets to see my phoenix.

i want so many more.

I love my claddagh and the fact that there's room to work other pieces into it. I can definitely see where the placement of yours would irk, like you've said. I remember when you first started sessions for the phoenix; it's a seriously cool piece. Damn shame it's not more visible.
