Well, that just shattered my last few remaining pretensions to pure heterosexuality. Holy sweet tap-dancing mother of GOD, that was hot as hell. Your Hikaru is one of the sexiest creatures ever, so tough and beautiful and aggressive and still has that Sulu sense of gallantry, which is just GUH. And I absolutely adore how girl!Chekov is just wonderfully girlishly awkward but still has that steel spine we all know and love.

I will also say that in addition to the brain-shattering hotness, you really captured that exciting, kind of scary feeling of being a teenager and having the world start to open up for you, especially including first love. You created such a vivid mood and world that I felt like I was 16 again, and even the minor characters jumped out at me and felt totally real. This was just amazing.

Oh gosh, I know I should be more focused on the writing, but I'm so stuck on your setting. It's really, really, really all kinds of awesome to see some riot grrl in fic (because okay, sure, GaGa's kind of cool, but she has NOTHING on Kathleen Hanna or Kaia Wilson). This story feels like home.

The setting was most of the fun for me:) I wanted them to see Operation Ivy at 924 Gilman street, but ended up whimping out because I didn't want to alienate anyone, lol<3
