In recent years, I have had positive car buying experiences. In fact before we left for the dealers on Saturday, I was telling Katie that it wasnt like it used to be, and was generally an efficient and pleasant experience. Not this time! Things were set back 10 years!

I'll bet the lady in the finance has a gas-powered leaf blower too. I hate Auburn.

I hate Auburn too. The funny thing is, I'd never been there until last Saturday, & I already knew I hated it for years!

I used to work with someone who lived in Auburn and I have jumped to all sorts of damning conclusions based on her hairstyle alone (the lady-mullet). I've also been there, unfortunately.

I love how the office of the Bellevue dealership (I use that last term quite loosely in this case) was a fucking shack with all of these luxury vehicles parked in front. What was going on there?

I wonder if the salesman at Auburn really speaks like that, or he's just over-the-top to distract people. That was my largest flim-flam exposure to date. Oil changes for life. Pfftthh. I wouldn't go to the seventh circle of hell/Auburn for free shoes for life.

Yes, oil changes for life was one of the things the crazy man offered me. Whoopee, I can save $20 every 3 years.

Auburn. The people there did not know where or what Seattle was. I said I lived downtown and worked in Fremont and he said "Fremont, California?". Yeah, fucking Fremont California. I have a 1,200 mile commute.

In that case an oil change every week or so is not a bad idea - and Auburn is on the way to California, sort of.
