We ate at Spinasse tonight, & I bit into a cherry pepper that had some seeds in. Holy fucking cow, I almost cried. I'm grateful it went away, because like a bad acid trip, I feared I was gonna be stuck like that for a long time. I almost asked for some ricotta to smear on my tongue.

& here I thought I could handle some shit. Ha!

I pre-ordered the Alinea book, mostly out of curiosity over this website. (You get access to it early if you pre-order.) It has a really good forum written by extremely knowledge people- & I haven't come across a flame war. The funny part is that it's also got a social networking aspect to it too.
