I have been putting off updating because I wanted to make a post about Skunk, but really just haven't been able to talk about it. The short story is that our eldest fur-baby died of lung cancer on May 18, 2004 at the age of 19. We cremated him the next day on our 20th wedding anniversary. I could use some good thoughts. My elder fur-baby, Skunk, is in the animal ER very sick. He is dehydrated and having trouble breathing. The X-rays show *something* spread all through his lungs that shouldn't be there. The possiblities range from bacterial infection to cancer, with most possibilities not treatable.
