High school is just another step in life and those actions and the way we act and realizing how we were is a sign of growing up, everyone goes through it, it just seems retarded once we're not part of that cycle anymore, but while we're living it, we don't even realize it.
I think... that I totally agree. I'm noticing it this year more than ever. I have to admit though, I used to be like that in a sense. And I see it in the grade 9's now, but they still seem so incredibly foreign to me, because I feel like a totally different person that I was in grade 9. I actually think about REAL things now, I hate wearing tight jeans and tiny shirts, I don't wear makeup like a tramp anymore, actually I almost wear no makeup at all, and I can see a million times clearer. Plus, all the cliques and groups that used to exist have disappeared; none of it matters anymore.
They'll get to that point of disgust, realize it, and be glad it's over.
Have you seen Mean Girls, at the end when the Junior Plastics walk by? It's EXACTLY like that. Haha.
You know what's kinda sad, is A) I HAVE seen that movie, and B) you're right, it's a pretty good interpretation of what i'm talking about... and I HATE PEOPLE LIKE THAT! oiy.. there's some people our age that are still like that and it really just grinds my gears.
