Unskilled Musical Genius
This YouTube video is just too cool. A Norwegian guy composes and plays a drum/piano tune by recording himself playing each note one-by-one and then splicing each scene into one big video.
The amazing thing is that he claims he neither plays the drums nor the piano.

I'm sorry I haven't written much. It's just that life is incredibly, unbelievably good right now and I'm enjoying every minute of it. I've barely even had time to do the laundry. I'll be back when things slow down a bit.

Rainiest Year on Record
I was just about to write a post complaining about the never-ending rain and overcast-ness, when I saw this article.
It would appear we're not imagining it! This season (Sept. 21 to Dec 21st) we're already 70% above normal in terms of rainfall received. It's probably going to be 100% above normal by the time Dec 21st rolls around! -

Apparently Scott Adams (Dilbert's creator) has been suffering from a condition called Spasmodic Dysphonia, which affects the voice of the victim. It essentially shuts down the part of the brain that controls normal speech. He has been speechless for 18 months.
