This is the beginning of my war on kipple -- also I'm quitting my job today.

A milestone update. In the last week I have finished my first quarter of art school and turned 22. It has been almost exactly one year since I first visited Ashland. It's definitely been an up-and-down year for me. I am happy with my decision though.

I had to dig my car out of snow with a dustpan. The operation took me twenty minutes.

Even stranger: I saw a woman here in Ashland with a Jittery Joe's shirt. She was working in a falafel restaurant and had no idea what Jittery Joe's is or where it is located. I'm considering making a real journal entry but I feel too tired to do it now.

I made my first Wikipedia edit today and fixed some glaring historical inaccuracies in the article on illustration. I'm currently debating whether or not to write a better overview of the golden age of illustration, a severely neglected topic. I wish I was better at writing.

I have a home.
I should have a job.
It's my second week of classes.

There are snow flurries outside.

Resolutions for the new year: live harder, work harder, excel.
