The fireworks display was BEAUTIFUL!!

What should one say or do when he/she knows that his/her friend's parent is in bad health and may be taken away to a far far away land soon?
I don't know.

Telling him/her that you will be there when he/she needs you?
Do you mean it? Are you able to fulfill this?
If you aren't able to do so, will it seem like you are giving him/her false hopes?

When i asked my friend when she was free, i got this reply:
Next week i'm free tue wed whole day, thurs during the day. And e wk aft next mon during e day n tue and wed during e day.
At the end of the day, I don't know when is she free. HAHA!

I'm bad with , , , etc.
The exact date is preferred.
Don't torture my puny brain..
