You really have improved a lot throughout the years. In fact, I'm impressed at how much you've grown as a writer. I think this goes the same for pretty much everyone else as well.

Yeah, Slideshare is annoying me as well, which is why I no longer use it anymore. I've switched to DocStoc, which supports PDFs, but the embed codes don't work on DreamWidth, so I linked to the fullscreen link instead.

Do what you have to do to get your plans sorted out. I'm sure that you'll get things sorted out someday.

Yeah slideshare is ticking me off as well. So I'll definitely be interested to see where you end up deciding to host yours. Also what photo capture program are you using, out of curiosity?

Heh, at least your early photo doesn't have speech bubbles and person person minus minus in it! We've all improved a lot and it's fun to see our first attempts.

*Pats Hand*

I honestly can't laugh at the picture quality until I shove my own legacy under the mat and pretend the pictures actually look good fullscreen...

Is there anyone out there who doesn't look back on their early chapters with some degree of cringeworthiness? I shudder to think what would have happened if I had uploaded those first few chapters one at a time, before I had any semblance of coherent plot. At least I can point to them and go, "Hey, look, there's the bones of a story here if you ignore the crappy picture quality!"

Hehe, I think we've all improved a lot, and it's quite fun to look at my old pics and laugh.

I hate the new slideshare with a passion. I used docstoc for the last chapter, which was ok but it has its problems. On the plus side, it accepts .pdfs, the picture quality is good and the reader has several really nice features. On the negative side, if you have the document set to public, you get ads on each slide. Setting it to private means you can still share it, but readers have to sign a guest book (which I've not found anywhere) and I had to relink to it the other day because the link had failed.

If you do find a good new host, let me know. :D
