Have you ever hit a red light at every single light? It's irritating as all f**k.

This morning on the drive to work I saw an odd thing: a motorcycle cop eating a cookie. I was stopped behind his motorcycle at a red light and he reached into the storage space next to his seat. For some unknown reason I have the song "Music is Magic" by Jem and the Holograms stuck in my head. I have no idea why. I have not recently watched the show, or seen anything to remind me of it. Out of nowhere, the song appeared in my mind, repeating over and over and over.

I sent off both my federal and state tax forms this morning. I don't owe any extra money this year but I still have that same nauseous feeling as I drop them off.

OK, the pollen around here is getting out of hand. My car has developed a lovely yellow sheen. The other night it was super windy and when I went out the next morning the whole street was blanketed in golden-brown crumbly pollen things (from the oak trees). Girl Scout season is upon us!

I wonder what addictive substance they put in those cookies to make me crave them so. Or maybe it's the fact that they are only available for a short time each year that makes you want them so much. All I know is that they are a tasty treat. mmmmmm

I recently got a new address book from my friend Sonia (a hint from her, perhaps?) but when I went to fill it in I had a problem: shoddy records. It appears that my habit of scribbling addresses and phone numbers on scraps of paper has failed me. How could this be?!
