All Fall Down 4/5:

The opening of the book was very close to home due to Allison and I both living in white, affluent suburbs.

Overally, the book was well paced and I didn't find myself struggling to read it. The storyline was so good because it was realistic in a fictional way.

I like Weiner's writings and would keep reading her stuff.

Big, Little Lies 4/5:

Loved this! When I finally started to take the time to read it, I blew through it!

Loved the characters and how the women took care of each other.

Very real feeling when dealing with affluent suburbia.

Lies that Chelsea Handler Told Me 3/5:

Not as funny as her usual stuff.

BUT, it was a quick, mindless read.

Maybe I'm just tired of her?

The Girl on the Train 5/5:

Great read. I loved how it was from different perspectives. The chapters were nice and small, and I didn't find it confusing to keep up with who each was referring to.

Awesome twist. I actually caught myself saying some of these discoveries out loud when I was reading!

Really enjoyed and it kept me interested!

David Nicholls, Us.

I have read 2 of his other books. This one, while good, took me a long time to slug through.

I enjoyed reading this and having images of places I have been or want to go. The ups and downs of a family and relationship or quite real.

The ending was a bit predictable, but well written to give the reader closure.

Mindy Kaling's 2nd memoir.

Lots of fun, LOL moments. I feel like I was her friend and we were hanging out while reading this.

She's cute, funny, and gets what it is like to be a minority trying to make it big. She's my celebrity doppleganger. :-)

This book took me entirely too long to read. However, it was enjoyable, mindless, and often fun. Perfect for the summer!

I love that I feel 'closer' to celebrities/reality stars after reading any of Andy's books.
