The Secrets You Keep by Kate White.

I typically like Kate White. I found this book a bit slow (until the last 50 pages or so). I didn’t like the 1st person writing.

However, the twist was good, the ending was a bit predictable.

Such a quick read, but then again, it was the 'Young Readers' Edition.' Doesn't matter. I loved it. It was a fast read for me but filled with tons of information about RBG's amazing life and why she is the woman she is today.

Light, easy read. Very predictable.

Was slightly annoyed with Andy's immaturity, but hey, that's what happens when it's fluff.

5/5 Le Petite Confessions: A Humorous Memoirette

This was a super fast, fun read.

I wanted something light and funny. Mindless, if you will.

The author is witty and real. Could envision her life as I've been to Paris multiple times.

I'll see if I can read more of her stuff.

I read this because my 5th grader read it in his advanced ELA class.  He was super into it, and asked his teacher if his mom could borrow the book.

It was a very quick read.  I felt the subject was a bit heavy for a 10/11 year old, but my husband says that's right for their age.

This was a quick, light, chick lit read.  I felt it had an easy flow and the characters weren't so complex that I had to keep going back to figure everything out.

A perfect summer read: light and mindless.

Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarity.

Loved this! When I finally started to take the time to read it, I blew through it!
Loved the characters and how the women took care of each other.
Very real feeling when dealing with affluent suburbia.

I think I'm on track for 12 this year!
