I can imagine about fifty scenarios following this, tbh, and in many of them it is Not Fine and in many of them it is. Who knows if they will ever be written...I encourage anyone to run with it if they want!

It always surprises me how well Mike and Jesse fit together. Mike is by no means a good man, but maybe Jesse would have fared better if he chose him intead of Walter as his father figure. There would be no games, at least - Mike's not the type.

(Sorry for late reply, I lost internet access for half a month!)

My love for Mike and Jesse's father-son relationship is as big as the sky and I cannot deny it. Mike, unlike Walt, knows exactly how bad and how good he is, and I will argue till the end that his concern for Jesse is far more genuine and selfless than Walt's. So a universe in which Jesse picks Mike as Replacement Dad....yeah, I'm all for that.
