First week
Okay, so my first week in Africa is slowly coming to an end. I moved out of the hute in the "outskirts of the city", which turned out to be more like "in the jungle". I'm in the city now, and it's a tiny, dark, depressingly bare room, but it has running water and electricity, which is more than I can say about my former location ( Read more... ) -
Africa...
So, it's less than a week until I get myself shipped of to Africa. Now I'm getting nervous. -

Sorry for the gap in posting. It's that time of the year again, and it's not exams that have me preoccupied. Soon, I will be on my journey to Africa - I am almost litterally running away to see a different sky above me. As turns out, running comes with a lot of worries and side-issues, like passports, vaccinations, paperwork... -
Who is the fairy boy?
Something came to me yestrday. I came up with this figure, a character, or maybe just an image: the fairy boy. It's only a name for now, and I don't know where to go from there, but I like the concept.
Why are fairies always female, anyway? I bet feminist would have something to say about that... -
(Not so) good old philosophy...
Okay, since I have this place, I figure I have to look after it, right? Feed it, walk it, vaccinate it for rabis? So that in the end, it will grow into a good, healthy monster ( Read more... ) -
