Man. Pepper saying the right thing at the wrong time and just ow. This was a perfect but bittersweet look into the new sort of equilibrium they might settle in, post movie. I love your Pepper, hardly judgmental but perceptive enough to know when to take a step back. Really, really lovely look at the both of them, actually. Thanks for this.

This is an unusual tact to take, regarding Tony being in love with Pepper. It really works. And Pepper's total acceptance of Tony demonstrates her love for him as well. Very realistic, and there's a warmth to this piece I really like.

I love the spilled coffee. Both on his shirt and then on her skirt. Neither of them care too much about it because it involved the other. And of course she would help him with the suit. He needs her, she needs him. End of story. Even if she'll never let it be anything bigger than, you know, her being everything Tony needs without being everything he wants.

They are such a dangerous balance to each other.
