Latest PET scan report - We've been on this roller coaster before
Some spots have disappeared. Some are smaller. Some are bigger. Some are new.
There are a couple new medical issues that we'll need to pursue further.
But for now Rob's being allowed to remain the study. Which is probably the best possible option for him right now.

St. Lucia tomorrow!
Fiona's been making us lussekatter for years, even after she got to college. This year she's working more hours, dancing on the ballroom dance team, and stressing out over her advanced math finals. John Rezmerski has passed away, aged 74
I'm listening right now to Rez reading his long poem "Cataloguing the Flow: Elegy." There is an .mp3 embedded in his Star Tribune obituary. It is comforting to hear his voice again, and so sad to realize I'll never hear it again in real life.
I'm going to miss Rez terribly, especially at Minicon. He was one of the favorites on the Lady Poetesses ( Read more... ) -

We finally caught up with Rob's oncologist
We finally caught up with Rob's oncologist who interpreted the PET scan from two weeks ago for us. Rob has put on a waiting list for a new clinical study. He may get called to go in for tests sometime in the next 2-8 weeks. He would be a good candidate, but he may be ineligible because of his participation in an earlier study. Rob has had another PET scan and the news is not good.
It's all summed up in the first line of the report: "Mixed changes with however worsening of lymphoma."
