I watched an episode of Origins on PBS this evening and saw something they called snotites hanging in a cave with an atmosphere unfit for human survival. These snotites hung from the ceiling of the cave like globs of snot hanging from a nose. Emotional rollercoasters are tough enough to manage without a kick in the gut from so-called friends. Add unexpected out-of-town guests when expecting some peace and quiet. This is the recipe for a snap at the least desireable moment.
